The Alignment Index for Speech Self-Service

The annual Alignment Index for Speech Self-Service conducted over the last three years aims to compare and measure Consumer, Vendor and Enterprise perceptions of Speech systems.

Dimension Data, together with our partners Cisco and Tellme
(A Microsoft subsidiary) test the alignment in perceptions between Consumers, Vendors and Enterprises by asking the Consumers a set of questions and then asking the other two groups how they thought Consumers would respond to those questions.

Working with Research Now, Dimension Data designed the study and interpreted the findings using Cisco and Tellme’s invaluable input and expertise. The results of this study, which examines how well the speech industry is in tune with end user perceptions are incorporated into a summary report and the results are presented annually at the SpeechTEK event in New York.
